Upkeep

Daily Cleaning

Hot water and dish rag or sponge is all you need to clean spills and wipe away crumbs to keep your countertops clean and tidy throughout the day.

At the end of the day, or as needed, a quick spray and wipe of the main areas of use with a good granite cleaner is sufficient to clean, disinfect and protect your countertops and provide a streak-free shine.

Re-Sealing

The easiest way to determine if your counters need to be re-sealed is to put a bit of water on the surface. If it beads up and sits on the surface of the stone, you are still good, however if it soaks into the stone it is time to re-seal.

To re-seal, simply get a stone sealer and apply it using the manufacturer’s directions.  This is usually as simple as spraying on the sealer, letting it soak in for a few minutes, and wiping it off.
